On Melemele Island, a wild Dewpider abandons its nest to find a personal pond. It encounters hostile Pokémon guarding their territories but persists in its quest. The creature uses a water bubble on its head to breathe on land. Upon seeing Lana with a Popplio balloon on her head, Dewpider mistakes her for a fellow Dewpider. The group watches and supports the Pokémon as it faces various opponents. After successfully securing a new location, Dewpider joyfully constructs its nest, motivated by its new acquaintance Lana.
