Serena defeats Jessie and Shauna in the Pokemon Showcase Master Class semi-finals to face Aria for the Kalos Queen title. Aria observes as Serena delivers a stunning routine with her three Pokemon partners. Aria retains her crown but invites Serena to perform together in the future. Following the match, Palermo meets Serena, who remains determined to win the title. Impressed by her growth, Palermo offers to mentor her. Serena chooses to continue traveling with Ash and her friends for the time being, though Palermo assures her the offer remains open whenever she is ready.
