A gem exhibition is canceled after Master Thief Keyes steals the items. Ed, a locksmith, suspects his former apprentice Locke is involved. When a fire breaks out at the Pokemon Center, Locke becomes trapped inside. Ed arrives to assist, and together with their Binacle, the two locksmiths collaborate to open the difficult lock. Locke reveals he became Keyes to gain Ed's respect, a motive Ed already understood. Officer Jenny arrests Locke but issues only a warning. The group is reunited, resolving the situation peacefully.
