Ep. 22: Jimmy Challenges Ash While Serena Disguises Herself to Protect the Sick Trainer

Rock guitarist Jimmy and his Pikachu, Spike, seek strong opponents and are directed toward Ash by Team Rocket. However, Ash is bedridden with a fever. When Jimmy arrives, Serena faces a dilemma: she knows Ash loves battling but needs rest. She decides to disguise herself as Ash, with Pikachu cooperating in the ruse. The battle proceeds well for Serena until Team Rocket steals both Pikachu. Fortunately, Ash recovers quickly and assists in defeating the villains. Jimmy is impressed by Serena’s skills but still wishes to challenge the real Ash immediately after lunch.
