Pikachu defeats Aegislash through superior maneuvering. The arena shifts to a rocky terrain where Ash replaces Noivern to battle Sawyer’s evolved Salamence, resulting in a mutual knockout. Subsequently, Sawyer’s Slurpuff clashes with Ash’s Goodra, also ending in a double knockout. Although Pikachu falls to Sceptile, Ash-Greninja secures victory against Mega Sceptile. With Sawyer defeated, Ash advances to the championship bout against Alain.
