Amelia organizes a Halloween celebration to mark All Saints' Day, while Lavinia insists everyone receives a pumpkin. Sara and Becky travel to Covent Garden, where Thomas and Ram Dass enlist a dress-shop owner to assemble a care package for them. Although Molly forbids contact with Peter, he assists the girls with their shopping. Amelia demonstrates her hosting skills and knowledge of party games once the Headmistress leaves. Meanwhile, with James and Molly absent and the Headmistress enjoying a midnight snack, Lavinia, Jessie, and Gertrude play a prank on Lottie that accidentally triggers a fire.
