Ep. 10: Fakir discovers his knight reincarnation while recovering Princess Tutu's stolen pendant
Kraehe withdraws temporarily, allowing Fakir to attack Princess Tutu with a glass shard that severs her pendant chain. She transforms into a duck and loses the item, spending the night searching before finding Fakir holding it. After retrieving the pendant at dusk, the narrative reveals Fakir is an orphan raised by a sword smith. He confesses to his father that he is the reincarnation of the knight from The Prince and the Raven, fearing his destined death at the raven's hands. Duck observes that Fakir's father is possessed by a heart shard of regret and works to remove it. Once freed, the father gifts Fakir the knight's sword and urges him to follow his heart. Upon returning to school, Fakir sees Duck wearing the pendant and realizes her true identity as Princess Tutu.
