Fakir struggles with whether to abandon his quest after failing to break Myuuto's heart, especially as Myuuto desires its restoration. Meanwhile, Rue grapples with her identity, attempting to convince herself she is unique while resisting Myuuto's transformation by accepting her role as Kraehe. Duck discovers a shard of devotion within a student artist, but Princess Tutu is intercepted by Kraehe, who seizes the piece. When Myuuto arrives, Kraehe hesitates upon facing her beloved, allowing Princess Tutu the opportunity to reclaim and restore the heart shard to its rightful place.
