Fighting between TERRA and Mulian forces intensifies, forcing Ayato to decide his future. Civilians evacuate while Souichi leads his fleet. Itsuki informs Haruka that Quon is a dormant twin sister from the shrine. Haruka reveals Ayato was her first love at fourteen. A Dolem named Allegretto appears, piloted by Shinobu Miwa, who defeats Cathy. Elvy destroys the Dolem in a rage. Mamoru uses Obbligato against the Vermilion, but Jean-Patrick sacrifices himself to save Elvy. Following earlier delays, Ayato and Quon fully commit to the tuning process.
