Amihama explains his past aversion to water polo stemmed from wanting to defeat his brother, but he quit when his sibling stopped swimming. Following an emotional departure, former teammates Keita, Koki, and Riku visit Yamanami High. Amihama returns, revealing Riku is his brother and expressing a desire to join Yamanami to challenge him. The team bonds and prepares for a weekend practice match arranged by Jou, facilitated by Chinu’s request to Rikka Gakuen’s captain. However, the high school team withdraws at the last minute, sending their junior squad instead to conceal their strength. Despite their size advantage, Yamanami members struggle to keep pace with the skilled Rikka Gakuen juniors during the unexpected game.
