Kei Isurugi contacts Astral to perform a mountain ceremony, inviting Nekoyashiki, Itsuki, and Mikan. During the ritual, Kei attacks the group, revealing that Nekoyashiki’s departure three years ago caused the loss of his sister, Sakuya Isurugi. Nekoyashiki challenges Kei to a duel, which Itsuki enforces by blocking interference from Honami and Adelicia. Although Kei employs kuda-gitsune, Nekoyashiki defeats him. Kei accepts the loss, acknowledging Nekoyashiki as his idol and impressed by the challenge. As Kei lies defeated, Nekoyashiki recalls his final moments with Sakuya while the group observes an aurora overhead.
