Ep. 19: Mikan's Return to Her Family and the Oni Ritual Crisis
Mikan and Nekoyashiki return to Mikan's family, prompting Itsuki to question their absence. Suzuka Katsuragi, the family head and Mikan's grandmother, refuses to return Mikan to Astral and reveals Nekoyashiki is missing. Itsuki and Honami travel to the Katsuragi estate, where Suzuka offers to return Mikan if Astral eliminates an oni on the mountain. Guided by Tatsumi Shitō, they ascend the mountain and face dozens of oni. The group is engulfed by magical pollution, and Itsuki awakens to find Nekoyashiki with Mikan's missing sister, Kaori Katsuragi. They explain that the Katsuragi ritual sacrifices the next heir to the mountain oni, and Suzuka intends this for Mikan. Nekoyashiki claims he kidnapped Kaori to stop the ritual, but a trace on Itsuki reveals her location, causing Suzuka to begin the ceremony.
