Mr. Higsby, a rare Battle Chip collector, employs his NetNavi NumberMan to steal chips. He traps Yai and her friends inside a classroom, issuing a threat to delete Glide unless Yai surrenders her rare chips. Lan and MegaMan, who remain locked outside the room, collaborate with Roll to crack passwords and successfully rescue their trapped companions from the collector's scheme.
