Maylu dreams of performing a CrossFusion to protect Lan and decides to try it during a date at an amusement park. While they are together, SwordMan attacks the location, causing Lan to drop his SynchroChip. Maylu retrieves the chip with the intention of executing the CrossFusion, but she is unable to succeed. Lan ultimately saves Maylu from the danger, ensuring her safety despite her failed attempt. Although the specific fusion does not occur, the shared experience strengthens the bond between the two characters, marking a development in their relationship.
