Oct 1, 2008Tsukune Aono starts his second year at the academy, briefly encountering a mysterious orange-haired vampire girl attracted to his blood scent. He reunites with Yukari Sendou, Kurumu Kurono, Mizore Shirayuki, and Moka Akashiya, all of whom have gained popularity and received fan letters from incoming freshmen. Moka receives the most correspondence, including a bat-shaped letter threatening her life, causing her anxiety. These threatening letters appear repeatedly during the day and night. At the entrance ceremony the next day, the mysterious girl fights two upperclassmen. Tsukune removes the rosary from Moka’s neck, allowing her inner self to intervene and stop the conflict.

Outside, Moka admits defeat without fighting back. Tsukune intervenes by removing the rosary, allowing Moka's inner self to kick Kokoa. Kokoa then happily greets her sister. She resolves to keep Moka to herself while Tsukune carries the exhausted Moka to the infirmary.

To stop the chaos, Tsukune removes Moka's rosary, causing her inner self to kick him into the mothers. Finally, Mizore and Kurumu explain that they prefer Tsukune to fall in love naturally rather than through forced marriage arrangements.

The school floods with curry, requiring a week to clean, after which Mizore treats everyone to her innovative shaved ice stew.

Together with Kokoa, Moka's inner self defeats Kotaro and breaks the hypnosis on all the girls. Kokoa thanks Moka's inner self for the rescue, but is told to thank Moka's outer self instead, who also tried to save her despite being controlled.

He must locate one of the three dark lords who founded the academy and built the barrier, located in a castle north of the barrier. Mikogami forbids revealing this information, but Ruby breaks her silence. Meanwhile, Kokoa overhears their conversation and plans to intercept Tsukune before he reaches his destination.

Dec 24, 2008With help from Mizore, Yukari, and Kurumu against Tsurara and Ageha, Tsukune reaches the castle. Kokoa warns him that Issa Shuzen, father of Moka and Kokoa, is the third dark lord. Tsukune fights Issa, gets beaten, but his resolve awakens vampire powers to steal the rosary. Moka’s inner self stops the battle, persuades Issa to release the rosary, and causes the castle to collapse. She then bites Tsukune before reattaching the rosary. Tsukune reunites with Moka’s outer self and is bitten again. Nekonome and Ruby arrive by bus to return everyone to the academy. Kokoa, spanked by her father for her schemes, uses Lilith’s mirror. Both Mokas and Tsukune’s admirers appear and glomp him.
