A faith healer arrives in the town, claiming to perform miracles for high fees while falsely labeling Megumi as incompetent. Driven by desperation and misled by these rumors, the girl's parents place her in a dangerous situation. Kenshin and Sanosuke intervene urgently to rescue the child from this life-threatening crisis caused by the healer's influence and the parents' misguided actions.
