Ep. 11: Kenshin Defeats Aoshi Amidst Kanryu's Attack and Megumi's Rescue
Aired on April 24, 1996
Kenshin narrowly defeats Aoshi, who requests death but vows revenge when refused. Kanryū arrives with a Gatling gun and kills the four Oniwabanshū members defending Aoshi. Megumi attempts suicide for her past actions but is saved just in time. Aoshi buries his fallen comrades and swears to defeat Kenshin on their behalf.
