Gohei Hiruma returns and employs the Onizaki brothers to assassinate Kenshin. He deceives Yahiko into retrieving the reverse-blade sword, subsequently binding the boy. While Kenshin struggles against the Onizaki brothers, Yahiko manages to escape his restraints. He retrieves the sword and delivers it to Kenshin, enabling the swordsman to overcome his opponents and secure victory in the confrontation.
