Kaoru takes in Toramaru, a sumo wrestler who has been expelled from his stable. The leading wrestler, fearing he will be overtaken, uses his status to suppress Toramaru. Kaoru teaches Toramaru to be self-confident, enabling him to overcome these obstacles. With this renewed self-assurance, Toramaru is able to rejoin the sumo stable and continue his career.
