Ep. 27: Shūrei confronts Seiga and Tan-tan reveals his father while new appointments are announced.

Shūrei receives requested items while Tan-tan works for a woman. After losing her report, Shūrei rushes to the Jin Clan residence, where Seiga admits to stealing it to get her fired. Tan-tan arrives, revealing his mother lives there and that he knew Seiga’s plan. He provides evidence to save Shūrei’s job. The Director General, a man Shūrei met in the garden, appears and assigns them to work under him. Shūrei learns Tan-tan’s father is alive and guarded by Seiran. During an imperial head officials meeting, the joukan assessment results are released, listing officials for dismissal. Riō Hyō becomes Chief Secretary of the Department of Mystic Study. Shūei Ran receives a letter stating his sister Jyūsan-hime will be sent to the inner court.
