Ep. 11: Momotaro Intervenes in the Ganryu Island Sword Contest Against Akashi

On the day of the scheduled sword contest on Ganryu Island, Momotaro refuses to participate in what he views as a vulgar fundraising spectacle. Togashi volunteers to fight in his place but is severely wounded by Akashi. Just as Akashi prepares to deliver the final blow, Momotaro arrives to represent the First Year students. The ensuing duel is intense, yet Momotaro overcomes Akashi’s Rock-Slicing Sword technique by relying on his own spiritual strength to secure victory. However, the instructors had wagered all the ticket revenue on Akashi and lost everything, leaving the school without the funds necessary to settle its debts.
