Ep. 8: Hospital secrets revealed as Nagi is recaptured and Naomi's condition worsens

Yuito confronts Nagi, who saves his platoon from an Other while admitting he only incapacitated the brainwashing scientists. A horde attacks, forcing Nagi to stay behind as he struggles with New Himuka's conditioning. Luka teleports Yuito to safety, where Fubuki explains the government created the hospital to research psionics, resulting in brainwashing and Other metamorphosis. Fubuki reveals the government targeted Yuito's team but was convinced otherwise by his false surveillance cover. Meanwhile, Kasane's squad infiltrates a Seiran facility to find Naomi. They discover ampules similar to those used on Naomi and encounter Others. Naomi briefly regains human sapience to communicate with Kasane before reverting to an Other state. Karen intervenes, injecting Naomi with an ampule to suppress her aggression. He notes this is temporary and Kasane's powers are needed for a cure. Back at the shelter, Yuito receives medicine from an OSF soldier, only to realize it contains the same ampules used on Naomi.
