Ep. 24: Kiroumaru lures the Ogre while Saki and Satoru prepare a counterattack in the tunnel.

Kiroumaru informs Saki that Satoru is injured during their separation, prompting a plan to lure and counterattack the Ogre. Satoru and Saki wait in a tunnel while Kiroumaru draws the creature. When the Ogre enters, Saki positions a mirror, causing confusion before she screams and attacks. Satoru throws the Psychobuster to protect her, but Saki incinerates it with fire to prevent infecting Satoru, unwilling to lose her last close friend. Kiroumaru distracts the Ogre, allowing the group to escape and hide in the tunnels. Yakomaru offers negotiations to locate them via voice, but the Ogre passes by unnoticed. Saki recalls Shun’s words about the child possibly not being an Ogre, leading her to realize they have a method to defeat it.
