Ep. 22: Saki learns of the Psychobuster and travels to Tokyo ruins with Kiroumaru, Inui, and Satoru.

Inui reveals that Kiroumaru rescued him after he collapsed but was then captured. Saki receives a package and letter from her mother, informing her about the Psychobuster, an ancient weapon created by normal humans to kill psychics. Saki and Satoru visit the imprisoned Kiroumaru, who agrees to help them locate the weapon. The group, joined by Inui, travels to the desert ruins of Tokyo to search for the Psychobuster. They fail to avoid detection by Monster Rats and arrive in the dangerous wasteland. Upon arrival, they discover that Yakomaru, his army, and the Ogre have followed them to the location.
