Ep. 16: Kazane's Identity Revealed as Masahiro Confronts Past Demons and Secrets

Kazane is identified as the mysterious woman while the Kifune Dragon God departs from Masahiro after Akiko’s interruption. Masahiro and Mokkun follow a spirit border guard pursued by a demon, with Toshitsugu distracting the beast. To hide his identity, Masahiro borrows Rikugo’s cloak, allowing him, Guren, and Rikugo to defeat the enemy before retreating from a misunderstanding. Rikugo later informs Seimei and Mokkun that Kazane serves an evil master named Ryuusai. Masahiro wakes from a dream, noticing the spirit border guard inside him, which he saves from Toshitsugu. During a demon fight, Masahiro defeats the enemy, shocking Kazane who failed to drown him ten years ago. Mokkun stops Kazane from killing Masahiro again, causing her to flee while Toshitsugu nearly exposes Masahiro’s secret. At the Abe no house, Seimei prepares to discuss Mokkun’s status as a hated shikigami.
