Ep. 2: Tsumugi reveals her Chimera nature after battle while Kobayashi secures research data

Following a battle where Tsumugi fights Gauna with her weapon destroyed, Nagate saves her from Tsuruuchi. Tsumugi destroys the enemy with Kunato's authorization. Kobayashi reveals Tsumugi is a Gauna-human hybrid created in Sidonia, prompting the Immortal Ship Assembly to intervene. Kobayashi restricts access to Ochiai's research extracted by Kunato. Later, Kunato introduces Tsumugi publicly, but her excitement scares the audience, ending the meeting. Nagate and Izana befriend Tsumugi separately. The Assembly votes to impeach Kobayashi, but Ochiai reveals he heard everything and kills them all under Kobayashi's orders.
