Akane contemplates her most valued possession after a class assignment, receiving a secret good luck charm from friends before a letter from Brian. The next day, Wolfrun confronts her, threatening to revert to his original form if he loses again. He challenges Akane to a one-on-one Volleyball Hyper Akanbe match, destroying her charm to break her spirit and overpowering her. However, upon learning Wolfrun plans to target Miyuki next, Akane regains her resolve, realizing her true treasure is her friendship bonds. She overpowers Wolfrun, who attempts a final strike, but is ultimately defeated when the other Precure members arrive to intervene.
