Reika receives acceptance for a one-year study program in England, yet feels uncertain despite her grandfather's advice and her friends' supportive but strained encouragement. Joker exploits her dilemma by transporting her to a pocket dimension and using a Mirror Hyper Akanbe, which breaks her resolve and cancels her transformation. He prepares to kill her, but her friends arrive, admitting they do not want her to leave. Moved by their tears, Reika realizes she also wishes to stay and awakens her hidden power. She defeats Joker, who had absorbed his Hyper Akanbe to shield himself from the Precure's attack. With her resolve confirmed, Reika declines the overseas study opportunity to remain with her friends for another year.
