During an orienteering excursion, Nonoka is puzzled by Shione's hostility toward her. The group encounters Noel, who joins them. Shione appears to wander off, prompting Nonoka to search for her, though Shione is actually ahead and lost. Nonoka ends up at an abandoned kindergarten and is found by Noel. In this moment, Nonoka recalls that she was friends with everyone seven years ago and was the one who suggested calling forth the saucer. Noel then reveals that she is the saucer itself, explaining the strange dynamics and memories involved in their current situation.
