Akiha and Itsuki stop Honoka from strangling Itsuki, while Friedrich admits to creating the brain colonies but claims he cannot return to space. Kirkwood remains controlled by the Nervalists, and Aleida pressures Nami to join them. Bou and Min join Kirkwood refugees and are hired by Nina. On Earth, Itsuki discovers the Terra Abduction incidents involve an orbital elevator named the Pied Paper. Everyone learns Friedrich took Leopard's components to prevent betrayal. The Pied Piper attacks Friedrich's island but is repelled by QT roses. Tsutsuji and Benkei fail to hijack Sakura's ship. Aleida takes Nami to a location to unlock her power, calling her the girl who leapt through space.
