To allow her parents to attend a social gathering at Eden College, Anya must become an Imperial Scholar. Since she dislikes studying, Loid devises a plan for her to earn Stella Stars through community service instead of academics. Anya volunteers at a hospital, but she repeatedly makes mistakes while trying to help. Her efforts are further complicated when she uses her telepathy to hear a child drowning in a pool, leading to a critical situation that tests her abilities and the success of her mission to secure the stars needed for her family's social standing.
