Ep. 9: Yuri slaps Yor after seeing her kiss another man, causing Loid to doubt her motives.
After witnessing Yor kiss another man, Yuri attempts to intervene but is slapped by the embarrassed, drunk Yor. Although he still denies the validity of the marriage, he begins to accept Loid. Loid, aware of Yuri’s ties to the SSS, grows suspicious of Yor’s intentions, while Yor feels inadequate as a wife. The following day, Loid plants a listening device on Yor and enlists Franky’s help, with both disguising themselves as SSS officers to interrogate her. Yor’s heartfelt declarations of loyalty to her brother and husband convince them of her sincerity. Loid later destroys the device and reassures Yor that she need not force herself to act like a traditional wife, as long as she is comfortable. They agree to maintain their current dynamic as a pretend family.
