On their first day at Eden Academy, Anya and Becky Blackbell are ostracized by classmates. Becky supports Anya, preventing her from apologizing to Damian while she is away. Loid, tailing Anya, sends messages pressuring her to apologize, which she does. Damian, having fallen for her, runs away in embarrassment, causing Loid to believe his second plan failed. At home, Loid pushes Anya to study, but she exhausts herself. Yor advises Loid to be less harsh, noting Anya sees him as a good father. Loid realizes he is being tough only for his aspirations and asserts that Yor is part of their family. He finds Anya asleep at her desk and puts her to bed, reflecting on the feeling of having a real family. Meanwhile, Yuri, Yor's brother, learns of her marriage.
