Ep. 2: Yor and Loid Form a Permanent Marriage After Escaping Pursuers

Yor Briar, a 27-year-old clerk at Berlint City Hall, faces social ostracization for remaining single and is suspected of espionage by coworkers. To support herself and her younger brother Yuri, she secretly works as the assassin known as the "Thorn Princess," eliminating high-profile diplomats. After a chance encounter with Loid, Anya reads Yor’s mind, discovers her true profession, and forces the pair into a partnership. This arrangement allows Loid to appease Yuri and his colleagues at a party, while enabling Yor to attend a job interview. During the event, Loid inadvertently claims Yor as his wife, prompting their joint departure. While fleeing from thugs Loid robbed during a mission, Yor recognizes that Loid accepts her eccentricities and sees the utility of a partner. She proposes making their arrangement permanent. Loid agrees, sealing their vows with a grenade pin as a ring, while the explosion eliminates their pursuers.
