The Forneys visit tailors before the entrance ceremony while Loid meets Sylvia Sherwood to discuss Operation Strix phase two. Meanwhile, Yor saves Anya from thugs during grocery shopping, leading to self-defense lessons. On orientation day, Loid places Anya in Damian Desmond’s class to connect with Donovan. However, Housemaster Henderson, now demoted to oversee their class, witnesses Damian provoking Anya. She punches him, earning a Tonitrus Bolt and damaging their relationship. This incident ruins Loid’s plan to use the children for political access and complicates the mission further.
