Anya Forger's enrollment at Eden Academy marks the start of Operation Strix's second phase, which involves gathering intelligence on Ostanian politician Donovan Desmond. To achieve this, Anya must either befriend his son, Damian, or collect eight Stella Stars to become an Imperial Scholar. She has already earned one star, prompting her adoptive father, Loid, to grant her wish to adopt a dog. During their search, Loid is assigned a new mission: preventing a group of Berlint University students from assassinating Westalis' Minister Brantz using bomb-equipped dogs. As Loid works to stop the plot, Anya accidentally discovers the terrorists' base and befriends a clairvoyant dog later named Bond. Despite their separate secret roles, the Forger family remains close, navigating challenges with their new pet.
