Yor defeats Barnaby after Anya distracts the crowd by framing the battle as a circus performance. The group reunites at the safe room, where Matthew reprimands Yor for her carelessness before assigning her to guard the Gretchers. During this duty, Yor contemplates her feelings regarding the mission and her family. The following day, Anya attempts to distract Loid with cruise entertainment to locate Yor, but becomes distracted herself. As night falls, Loid and Anya join others on the main deck to watch fireworks. Meanwhile, Yor escorts the Gretchers to the rendezvous point while assassins close in on their position.
