The Shopkeeper tasks Yor with guarding Olka Gretcher and her son, the last members of a fallen crime family, as they flee to a neutral nation aboard the Princess Lorelei. Anya and Loid coincidentally secure tickets through a mall raffle. Yor and her manager Matthew McMahon, a fellow Garden member, board under City Hall pretenses to meet the targets. While Matthew is absent, Yor takes Olka and her son outside for air. Their discussion is intercepted by an informant with exceptional hearing, revealing Olka’s alias to pursuing assassins on the vessel.
