During a rainy walk with Lala, she escapes classmates' questions about Lala's home planet and visits Mr Ryo at the Observatory. He shares the story of Deneb, a star that remains constant despite shifting positions, helping Hikaru realize she can shine independently. Kappard attacks, revealing his planet's destruction due to failed interplanetary coexistence. Lala counters his cynicism by citing her classmates' acceptance. Inspired by Mr Ryo's words, Hikaru awakens her power, declaring she will continue to shine despite changes. The Cures defeat Kappard, who is transported away before reconciliation is possible.
