Ep. 9: Faris reveals her true identity and family history regarding the missing IBN 5100 computer.

Okabe and Daru discuss the Phone Microwave with Faris, who becomes intrigued by the topic. Okabe later notices the IBN 5100 is missing from the lab, a loss caused by Moeka's earlier D-Mail. Kurisu explains that previous minor changes created a butterfly effect. After finding Moeka unaware of the device's location, Okabe confirms Kurisu's theory when Mayuri recalls meeting Moeka. The group visits Faris, who reveals her real name is Rumiho Akiha and that her family donated the IBN. She agrees to provide information if Okabe allows her to send a D-Mail ten years into the past. He reluctantly accepts, making her Lab Member 007. They send the remote D-Mail, triggering a world line shift. Faris's father appears, confirming he no longer has the IBN. Upon leaving, Okabe observes that Akihabara's geography and culture have fundamentally changed.
