Ep. 12: Kurisu finishes time leap device while Okabe refuses use and Suzuha flees after bomb threat

Kurisu completes her time leap machine, which compresses memories into D-mail size to send them up to two days into the past. Okabe, disturbed by threatening texts, rejects the device and suggests publicizing their findings. During a planned party, Kurisu clashes with Suzuha over her destiny as a SERN spy, but Mayuri intervenes. A televised bomb threat prompts Suzuha to flee the lab upon learning of its SERN connection. Okabe recognizes the danger when Mayuri's pocket watch stops. Armed men led by Moeka, a SERN Rounder, storm the lab. She orders Okabe, Kurisu, and Daru detained. Mayuri is shot in the head and killed because she is deemed unnecessary.
