The Ashura crime syndicate plots to assassinate Chun-Li's father, Dorai, after he repeatedly thwarts their operations. To lure him out, they kidnap Chun-Li and use her as bait. While meeting Ryu and Ken in a park, Chun-Li is ambushed by an Ashura member disguised as a clown. The two martial artists arrive just in time to rescue her and defeat the attackers. The group then proceeds to Dorai's dojo to intercept the assassination attempt. Chun-Li enters to guard her father, while Ryu, Ken, and Fei Long remain outside to fight off the remaining thugs. Although they succeed in protecting Dorai, one enemy escapes. During the dojo attack, Akuma makes a brief cameo appearance.
