Ryu and Sagat engage in a Muay Thai duel, with Ryu surprisingly mastering the style and landing critical blows. The match concludes as a draw when Sagat recognizes their kindred spirits and vows to protect Ryu in prison, ending the fight. However, Nuchi demands they continue because he collected 50% of the betting money. When Sagat refuses, an enraged Nuchi attacks them both. Ryu and Sagat successfully defend themselves and easily defeat Nuchi. Later, Ken secures Ryu’s release on bail, though he is forbidden from leaving the country until he proves his innocence. Ryu and Sagat bid farewell, and Ryu departs to find the man who framed him.
