Ryu and Ken travel to northern India to learn Hadou from monk Dhalsim. In Calcutta, they defend Dr. Hanna’s hospital against thugs seeking the land. Ken contacts his father to buy the facility, ensuring its safety. Upon reaching Dhalsim’s village, the monk refuses instruction, calling them aggressive beasts. To prove their worth, Ryu and Ken befriend the locals. Dhalsim then reveals the Cave of Ancients, warning them against entering due to a monster inside. Meanwhile, four criminals breach the cave to steal its treasure, unaware of the danger within. The monks' refusal and the cave's peril complicate the warriors' quest for knowledge.
