While shopping in Roma, the capital of Romagna, Lucchini saves a girl named Maria from suited men. The pair bond and explore the city, though Lucchini spends all the food money Charlotte provided. A Neuroi ship attack forces Lucchini to rejoin Yoshika and Charlotte to defeat the enemy. Afterward, Lucchini shows Maria a bird's eye view of Roma, emphasizing the importance of protecting the city. Upon returning home, it is revealed that Maria is the Duchess of the Principality of Romagna. She thanks Lucchini during her inauguration by airdropping food supplies to the Witches.
