Ep. 1: Yoshika Miyafuji joins Mio Sakamoto's aerial infantry after a Neuroi attack on the Akagi

Yoshika Miyafuji rescues a cat, impressing friend Michiko Yamakawa, who is later injured when a dog crashes their wagon. Yoshika uses magic healing to save her, attracting the attention of Mio Sakamoto. Mio invites Yoshika to join the special aerial infantry fighting the mysterious Neuroi. Yoshika declines until receiving a letter from her deceased father, Ichiro Miyafuji. She then boards the aircraft carrier Akagi with Mio. The ship is subsequently ambushed by a surprise Neuroi attack, forcing Yoshika to confront the enemy forces directly.
