Suzuka travels to her hometown to visit Kazuki, prompting Yamato to pursue her. He locates her large family residence and is greeted by her sister, who leads him to Suzuka and Kazuki. Yamato soon realizes that Kazuki has passed away and that Suzuka is paying respects at his grave. Overwhelmed by this revelation, Yamato departs without revealing his presence to Suzuka. During this encounter, he also learns that Kazuki was a rocket starter and bears a striking resemblance to himself, adding a layer of personal connection to the tragic discovery.
