Yamato begins attending the local school but feels isolated during breaks because Suzuka spends time with her track friends and Yasunobu hangs out with his local group. Unexpectedly, Honoka approaches him, revealing a connection to his past. Later, Yamato accompanies Suzuka on a shopping trip, which causes him to become sick. While resting at home, he hears a knock at the door and anticipates seeing Suzuka. Instead, he finds Yasunobu at the entrance, accompanied by Honoka, surprising him with their joint visit.
