Ep. 13: Haruhi's Nanomachine Injection and Out of Season Cherry Blossoms

During SOS Brigade filming, Haruhi attempts to grant Mikuru a new superpower via a contact lens, but Yuki intervenes by injecting her with nanomachines to prevent harm. After Mikuru is submerged in a lake, Tsuruya provides a location where Haruhi drugs Mikuru’s drink with alcohol to facilitate a kiss scene with Itsuki. Kyon becomes enraged by Haruhi’s mistreatment of Mikuru and nearly strikes her, requiring Itsuki to intervene. Haruhi falls into depression, believing Kyon should have supported her, until Kyon apologizes after rejecting Taniguchi’s rude remarks. This reconciliation boosts Haruhi’s spirits, but her renewed power causes cherry blossoms to bloom out of season.
