Suguha Kirigaya confronts Kazuto Kirigaya about his BoB participation, revealing she knows from Asuna. She expresses worry over his demeanor, prompting a promise of his safe return. Sinon vents anger to Kyouji, who attempts a hug that she rejects. Aki offers counseling to Kazuto, who confesses to killing Laughing Coffin members in SAO. Aki acknowledges the act was for protection but cannot lift the burden. Kazuto then logs into GGO. In Alfheim Online, Asuna, Leafa, Klein, Lisbeth, and Silica prepare to watch the BoB tournament broadcast. Sinon meets Kirito at the General Governor's Office, where they declare their determination not to lose.
